Season’s Greetings from AsssA!
Once again another year is almost behind us. As we pause to celebrate the holidays, we want to extend a sincere thank you to all of our clients. Our success comes from you and our dedicated, professional personnel.
This was another transformational year for AsssA. We went beyond simply Safety, Quality and Environment Management system implementation to providing Certification Auditing to Safety 4801:2001, Quality ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 through our JAZ-ANS provider IQC Global.

AsssA are excited to announce some of our clients gaining standards accreditation this year.

To ensure accreditation is managed on an ongoing basis and in accordance with their objectives and as per the standards, AsssA provide a regular resource to General Crane Services. The exponential growth of the General Crane Services business over a short period of time comes about through their commitment to SEQ and the way they go beyond with their care for the client.

Congratulations must be noted to SEQ Manager – Ryan Knight who was awarded the best individual contribution to safety and health as a Manager in WA – very impressive. DM Civil were also awarded the best workplace safety and health management system.
Australian High Risk Training – Quality – http://www.ahrt.com.au/
AHRT provide training, verification of competency and CraneSafe Inspections in the high risk construction industry. As a Registered Training Organisation it was decided that ensuring a Quality framework in accordance with ISO 9001, would better develop their internal systems. This has shown their Tier 1 clients in the WA mining sector their commitment to Quality. Being predominately in the north west on-site and conducting courses out of their specialised Belmont venue sees AHRT continually grow.
The relationship that AsssA has developed with IQC Global continues. AsssA are the nominated certification auditing provider in Western Australia for IQC Certification Services Australia Pty Ltd.

WorkSafe Plan Assessors
AsssA are continuing to provide WorkSafe Plan Audits. AsssA’s work this year has included government organisations (LandCorp), mine sites (MZI) and Design Engineers (Arup).
The WorkSafe Plan is an audit and assessment process that can be used to rate safety and health management systems. It can be used for auditing to provide information and ratings on the extent to which an organisation has implemented a systematic approach to the management of safety and health and the extent to which an organisation is complying with some of the legislative requirements.
AsssA’s ‘asWELLas’ Program
AsssA’s Wellness Programs are customised to meet specific needs and goals of organisations.
By having a successful Wellness Program in place, direct successes become evident in employee engagement, performance and production.
Some of our organisations have adopted our “asWELLas” program whereby quarterly cycles are established to deliver tangible outcomes. An example of this is:
- Cycle 1 – Nutrition Awareness
- Cycle 2 – Quit Smoking
- Cycle 3 – Ergonomics and WorkStation Set-Up
- Cycle 4 – Emotional Intelligence
To ensure these programs are resonating with the desired audience, the corporate culture is researched thoroughly. In accordance with the “asWELLas” program, development of specific and relevant tools is introduced for the ongoing success, such as posters and handbooks.
On behalf of everyone at AsssA, we would like to thank you for your business, loyalty, and support throughout 2016. We wish you and your family happy holidays and a safe, prosperous, and joyous new year.
